Overview
- Mercer Labs, the Museum of Art and Technology, revolutionizes the museum experience. The experimental facility is 36,000 square feet and stands in the heart of downtown New York City. Through fifteen exhibition spaces, interactive multisensory experiences, unique 4D sound listening experiences, and LED mirrored infinity rooms and 16K projections, the symbiotic relationship between art and technology is reimagined.
- Under Nachum’s creative direction, Mercer Labs curates evolving exhibitions and collaborates with creatives and artists to create content that art humanizes technology. Mercer Labs, embracing the digital age, poses a question its viewers: "Are We in the Future? "
- By examining the process by which we create art and experiment with technology, Mercer Labs serves as a catalyst to create a platform that drives inspiration and collaboration. The evolving experience invites participants to explore the world through another point of view.
- Mercer Labs, at its core, is an on-site laboratory known as Mercer Studio. Mercer Studio facilitates an ongoing exchange among artists, musicians, and creatives, promoting collaboration.
- Nachum said, “My hope is to give a heightened sense of involvement to the viewer. It’s not about what I have created, it’s about how viewers complete it through their own unique experience or interaction. The function of art is to see the world with new eyes.”
- Mercer Labs currently presents Limitless, the inaugural exhibition by Nachum. In Limitless, he transitions between narrative and abstraction, inviting exploration of the intricate spatial framework of source imagery and technical direction. His experimental approach incorporates elements from art history, conceptualism and interactivity, to confront conventional artistic boundaries and explore sensory substitution, hypnagogic imagery, internal representations, and mental rotation.

How To Use
- MUSEUM ENTRY HOURS: Monday- Friday: 11am - 6:45pm Saturday: 10am - 6:45pm Sunday: 10am – 6:45pm Museum closes daily at 8:30PM
- Allow 60-90 minutes. Includes access to all rooms and installations.
- Infants 0-3 years old are free of charge. Please note, strollers are not permitted into the exhibition
- Senior (65+) and Student (Must have valid student ID) can buy discounted tickets at the door.
- Families of 4+ receive an automatically applied 10% off discount when added to cart.
- Groups of 10+ receive an automatically applied 20% off discount when added to cart.

What is the cancellation policy?
Non-refundable reservations cannot be cancelled or modified once submitted.
What if you miss the appointed time or departure date?
Once the booking is confirmed, an absence or failure to show up on the scheduled date or time is a no-show. No refunds or reschedules will be issued for no-shows and late arrivals
Other important information
- Mercer Labs is fully ADA accessible and service animal friendly.
- Mercer Labs does not currently offer coat check services
- Most guests spend about 60-90 minutes in the museum.
- There are men’s and women's restrooms on the first floor and an all gender restroom on the lower level.
- Mercer Labs does not permit outside food or beverages. Weapons of any kind are also prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to glass bottles, flammable substances, and knives of any kind, including pen knives, switchblades, and swiss army knives.
