Trip on February 19th 2022 We booked the trip online late in the evening one day before the trip and we’ve got the confirmation email (short before 10 pm). Until that moment we thought that the AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL annual pass will be enough to enter the canyon. It is not. As we arrived on time at the meeting point we’ve been told that we are not on their list. It was already 12:00 and the trip was scheduled for 1:20 pm. Eventually after a few phone calls made by the team we could hop into the shuttle to the canyon. It was just a communication issue. The prices on site were little lower than online but the trip was quickly sold out. Maybe one ore two persons may have luck to get a place but to book in advance is definitely better. It was an unique experience for us! The tours are well planed and organized. It is important to know that there are no possibilities to buy food or drinks at this area, but mobile toilets are available. You better bring something to eat and to drink with you. Driving on the Highway 98 slow down as approaching the milepost 299 and you will see the camp. Back to the visit: Our guide Laureen has such a huge amount of knowledge about the Antelope Canyon area and she gave us great tips how to make unforgettable pictures inside the canyon.
